An Aspiring Author

So I've finally decided to do it. I'm gonna write a book. This is something I've been wanting to do for years but I could never get motivated. You know that saying "Write what you know?" That's what I'm doing. It's loosely based on my life now. It's the story of four idiots in their 20's as they make their way through the various trials and tribulations of growing up. It's also about how facing these various situations molds and shapes them into the men they ultimately become. It's also a celebration of friendship. It's that time in your life when your friends are closer to you than your family. Right now my ultimate goal is just to finish writing it because I've tried before to write a book and always gave up after like 2 chapters. This time, I'm currently on chapter 9. I'm trying to write tiny chapters like James Patterson, something that flows quickly but packs a punch. I want to write it like I speak. It's a novel, but with some autobiographical details. I'll give updates on how it's going later. Peace!
